The main component of the movement area an airport is its landing strips, which must be kept in optimal conditions for takeoff and aircraft; it vitally important to know current state operating, that In this sense, objective investigation was determine surfaceevaluation asphalt pavement runway Alférez FAP David Figueroa Fernandini Huánuco (Peru) applying PCI methodology based on deterioration observed surface. A visual inspection carried out, measuring types areas deterioration, recording sheet provided by ASTM D 5340 standard analyze through EVALPAV Software; later, results yielded average 62 value quantifies exemplary conservation located, recommended carry out rehabilitation said airstrip.
